Truth is, for about 50 to 100 guests, the basic things you will need to budget for are:

Wedding cake:
The cake is what most people value the most. You should make sure everyone gets a piece of the cake You could make 2 types of cake - Sugar and sugarless to cater for everyone

Wedding ring:
How else would you tie the knot? It is the single important element and make sure you get it like a week before the wedding. Make is special and get a pair for you and her.

Photography:
It would be a disaster if there are no pictures to recall that D-day. Even some of our parents who got married during the civil war at least still had pictures even though in black n white

Wedding gown and suit:
For you and her. You could get a white or black suit and wedding gown. It doesn't have to be expensive and you could even hire one.

Drinks:
Even if there were no food served, at least let there be drinks. Let the jar not be empty. It could be chilled or non chilled.

Wedding hall:
Could be free if you get a family home with space. you should know that wedding halls can be quite expensive but could be cheaper if you have it at your church or town's hall.
