Big Brother Africa and the Nigerian vote

Nigeria is a big brother in Africa when it comes to economy, population, education and technology however in this context, we are talking of the Big Brother Africa show on tv.

Big Brother is a reality tv show as we know that is shown on the DSTV cable service. It is an in-house reality show where participants from different countries in Africa all come together to outwit each other into winning the ultimate price which is mostly in US dollars.
Already, we've gone past 6 seasons of Big Brother episodes and somehow it seems that votes for Nigerian participants

Big brother Africa has had 6 seasons and it seems that the Nigerians are beginning to understand how to vote, most especially so after Big brother improved on the rules which allow voters to simply vote for their favourite housemate unlike in the past when people voted for the least loved.

For the 6 season which Big Brother Africa has been held, we've had more winners from Nigeria and these includes:

BBA 4: Kevin Chuwang
BBA 5: Uti Nwachukwu
BBA 6: Karen
BBA 7: Goldie is a strong contender with Lady May in her way.

Why does Nigerian housemates tend to get the most votes?
Well, here are some possible reasons
- Nigeria has the highest number of internet users in Africa : They'd win the internet votes on big brother website
- Nigeria has the highest number of mobile phone users in Africa : They'd win a straight fight with sms voting assuming every country voted for themselves
- Nigeria has the most widely travelled people in Africa - They could be also be voting from other countries
- Nigerian housemates tends to win easily since they get drama tips on acting from Nollywood.

So with the way I see it, Nigerian housemates tend to win easily if they know how to act and tolerate other people in the house and they need to also represent the best of Africa. Being a good African ultimately wins the prize.
